GiveNKind is a logistics nonprofit that supports the missions of other nonprofits by connecting surplus goods, donated by companies across the U.S., to Chicagoland nonprofits. Through its innovative logistics solutions, GiveNKind ensures that donated goods—from household essentials to pet supplies—reach the right organizations efficiently, maximizing social and environmental impact.

Partners in Giving

GiveNKind works with community and family foundations, Rotary Clubs, 100 Women Who Care, and other service organizations that want to significantly impact the projects they support.

Your support can be directed to one of our 700+ partners, including food pantries and shelters, education and youth programs, veterans support groups, art & culture programs, animal welfare groups, employment and skills training programs, and more. If a nonprofit isn’t on the list, encourage them to register!

Gift of Goods

Organizations may purchase GiveNKind gift cards of $250+ to give to nonprofits they support. A gift card empowers a nonprofit to order the essential products it needs at significantly reduced costs, exactly when it needs them. Products include new household goods, apparel, shoes, personal care and first aid products, pet supplies, books and toys, food, and more.

Why are gift cards a good option for our organization?

Your gift card helps cover the administrative fee for products a nonprofit orders—at a fraction of retail costs. For example, GiveNKind’s admin fee for a $100 pair of shoes is just $5. That means a nonprofit can provide 20 pairs to those in need instead of purchasing one pair at full price, making their resources go further and their impact even more significant!

Do gift cards expire?

GiveNKind gift cards never expire and can be used until the full balance is spent. With our constantly changing inventory, nonprofits have the flexibility to order the items they need, exactly when they need them, ensuring they can make the most of every donation.

Can our organization access GiveNKind’s Resource Catalog and order products for nonprofits we support?

Yes! If your organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you can register as a GiveNKind partner and access our Resource Catalog, including truckload donations. However, we highly recommend empowering the nonprofits you support by giving them a GiveNKind gift card. This allows them to choose the products they need, exactly when they need them, ensuring the greatest impact.

What if the nonprofit I want to help isn’t a GiveNKind partner?

Please browse our list of current partners. If the nonprofits you wish to support aren't listed, please contact emily@givenkind.org. We can assist with onboarding new nonprofits.

WILL MY FOUNDATION/CLUB BE NOTIFIED IF A DONATION IS AVAILABLE?

You will be notified if you have expressed interest in Truck Direct opportunities.

CAN WE SELECT WHICH NONPROFIT(S) RECEIVES THE DONATION?

Yes, your foundation or club can direct the donation to a nonprofit of your choice as long as the nonprofit accepts it. Not all nonprofits have the facility space to handle large donations. We will work with your organization and the recipient to ensure a good fit for everyone.

MY ORGANIZATION/CLUB IS A 501(C)3 NONPROFIT. DO WE HAVE ACCESS TO TRUCK DIRECT?

Yes, if your organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you can register as a GiveNKind partner and order supplies from the GiveNKind Resource Catalog, including truck direct donations.
