FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

Corporate groups help organize large-scale donations like new clothing, housewares, and personal care items donated by major manufacturers. This work is vital to providing nonprofits the specific items they need for their clients.

To ensure a high-quality, impactful experience, GiveNKind offers thoughtfully curated corporate volunteer sessions exclusively to companies and organizations that support our mission through a minimum financial contribution, sponsorships, grants, or product donations. For more information, please contact anne@givenkind.org.

We welcome groups of 5-15 employees for 1.5-hour sessions. If you have a larger group, we suggest two sessions.

After you submit the form, our team will contact you with a day and time for your volunteer event and to answer any questions you may have. A link will be sent to you to share with your team. Each member must register and complete a waiver. Be sure to check back with your team to keep them informed and excited.

GiveNKind receives many donations that need to be sorted to ensure that our nonprofits receive what they requested. This means sorting items by size or product type before they can be added to the resource catalog for nonprofits. The sorting process requires significant effort from many, and you will be joining this effort. At the end of your time with us, more essential products will be made available to over 850 local nonprofits.

GiveNKind customizes your volunteer event depending on the size and skills of your group; it’s important for us to know exactly how many volunteers to expect and that your team knows what to expect when they arrive.
