Joanne is serving her third term as Trustee on the Buffalo Grove Village Board and served on the village’s Planning and Zoning Commission for five years. She is retired from a career in nonprofit public relations and marketing communications.

Vice President

Kyle is the Customer Service Manager for Signode, an international manufacturer of package protection machines and tools. His background includes work in transportation and logistics with a focus on process improvement. He is passionate about helping people and organizations get things to their destinations.

Chris Stilling

Board Member

Chris is the Deputy Village Manager of the Village of Buffalo Grove. He has 25 years of experience in local government management, development, and public administration.

Natalie Michas

Natalie is a People Advisory Services consultant at EY, and specializes in helping organizations and individuals navigate all types of people, processes, and technology changes. Natalie previously served as GiveNKind’s Board President.

Neal Cunningham

Neal is currently the Director of Supply Chain Operations for Medline Industries. Throughout his career, he has served in product development and supply chain leadership roles for large-scale businesses within the automotive, industrial, and medical markets.

Robert Klawans

Board MEMBER

Rob spent 32 years trading grain options on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade where he served as the Pit Chairman of the Soybean Meal Options Committee. He has experience in financial markets as president of the StockPile investment club. Rob enjoys traveling, hiking, and is an avid runner having run over 100 races. Rob volunteers weekly at the GiveNKind Center and has become a certified forklift driver.

Jerry retired as a Director of Business Development for Korn Ferry Digital, a project management, and leadership development consulting company. Jerry has extensive experience in adult learning and client relationship management.

Chris is a seasoned business developer, sales professional, and entrepreneur. After 25 years with the Hewlett-Packard Company, she co-founded iMovR, which grew into one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of state-of-the-art standing desks, treadmill desks, and other active ergonomic furniture options.

Peter Santangelo

Peter is President of Community Advantage, a Wintrust Financial Company with over 30 years of banking experience. He serves on GiveNKind’s Finance Committee and provides financial guidance to the organization.

Patrick Swartzer

Board member

Patrick is an analyst at The Intercontinental Exchange in the Market Regulation Department. In the past, he clerked at law firms specializing in litigation and public interest.

Joi Washington

Joi is a Research and Development Manager at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company and has over 12 years of experience in research and development in the food industry. She was a member of the 2010 Women’s Fencing Team National Champions.
