About

GiveNKind began as a grassroots effort to meet the needs of Chicagoland nonprofits by connecting them with individuals donating specific items. Over time, businesses and distributors began reaching out to find meaningful homes for their excess goods. As these requests grew, so did GiveNKind’s response.

Today, GiveNKind addresses large-scale resource challenges by transforming excess goods into vital community resources that benefit both people and the environment. By helping nonprofits meet basic community needs, such as access to clothing, food, household goods, and personal care items, GiveNKind ensures that interventions like education, job training, counseling, and support services are more effective. In 2025 alone, GiveNKind distributed more than $19.24 million in resources with nonprofits working to strengthen and uplift their communities.
